About

The North Carolina Pharmaceutical Services Network (PSN) is a collaboration between East Carolina University (ECU) and Pitt Community College (PCC) that provides a continuum of pharmaceutical education and training to companies in North Carolina. The PSN at ECU is a lab-based education and training network, offering GMP/GLP courses and short courses for undergraduate and graduate students. The PSN at PCC provides a pilot plant-type manufacturing environment and lab-scale equipment to teach oral solid dosage theory and manufacturing technique. Since 2017, PSN at PCC has trained approximately 600 participants over 60 training sessions. Most students come from regional pharma companies, including Catalent, GSK, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
